Five minute sketches

Long story short.
After I lost my fight with a table saw and before I went to school for electronics/computer engineering technology I shortly (about a month and a half) went to the Art Institute of Dallas for Computer Animation where I learned two things. After a speech by George Lucas (who was paid more for that 90 minute speech than many make in five years) I learned the people in that industry are arrogant jerks and nobody I would ever want to work for and For me Art could never be more than a hobby because I don't like being told what I have to draw as I feel it crushes creativeness.
The point of this story is my first assignment was to sketch fifty pictures of anything I felt like with a five minute time limit on them. With the exception of Dragon 1 which I took ten minutes the rest were done between two and a half to five minutes.
I thought some of you with children or grandchildren might want to download them for coloring.
For those here with artistic talent maybe you want to take the 5 minute sketch challenge and add to it please do.
The folder is here 5 minute sketches
Tip: Colored Pencils work better than Crayons for coloring on printer paper.

Interesting. I was just looking for a drawing challenge, so I think I will try it out throughout the next few weeks.

If you're still interested in Art, it seems to be much easier to be an artist at the moment. You can start by creating a blog/website or a deviantart account, then set up a Patreon. Or you can be a youtube animator, create webcomics etc. Patreon seems to really help the artists to get paid for their work. It's still a longer process, but a bit easier than it used to be.

@onlything I only draw occasionally these days due to not having the concentration required for long periods of time from cognitive fog. I am still interested in geology an will soon (Right after I finish paying off the new refrigerator) have the rock drilling, cutting and polishing equipment to make jewelry with.
@Thinx Thank you.

That sounds really interesting! Do you think you could post photos of some of the jewelry you make either in your album or in a thread? I think there was somewhere one where everyone would post things they made, but I don't remember where it was...

Concerning concentration, have you maybe tried utilising pomodoro technique? Essentially, you break down a task into smaller parts of 25 or so min each. You work for 25 min, then take a 5 or 10 min break to refocus, then do another 25 min. It helped tremendously with my own lack of concentration for work tasks.
