I really love trying different ethnic foods. I am not a foodie though - I think I go more for comfort foods and can't really appreciate food enough to be considered a foodie. I would really like to gain cooking skills! It's the kind of thing where I am naturally very bad at it, so I need a long block of relaxed time, everything already organized, and loads of practice - right now I don't have that situation going on. But one day, I think I will. I still predict that I will be too clumsy mentally and physically to prepare food finely enough or accurately enough to make great food, the difference is often in those details. But maybe I can find some forgiving recipes and just make stuff that at least my husband and I would like. As bad as I am at that role, I would feel satisfied in gaining some skills in it! I would feel better about myself, since it's a goal or a value that I seem to naturally have - I just need more time and effort than most to get into it, and life has never allowed me the opportunity.Hi has anyone on here got cooking show fixation and eating out different places particular
