Formula One

It's been the topic of a few episodes of a podcast I listen to so I've been trying to get into it just to understand what the guy is talking about. Apparently there aren't any more races until later in the month? I'm going to watch Rush and Senna 3D and see if they can get me interested enough to watch a race on TV.

One of my two favourite ZX Spectrum games was Full Throttle (the other was Cyclone in case you were wondering). Other than that I'll watch F1 if it's on when I'm doing the ironing. I'd never watched it in real life ... until next month. Earlier this year I followed a link from the Year of Engineering website and came across a mention of a Formula Student event at Silverstone on 13 July, with tickets going for a very reasonable £10. It may cost me more than that in taxi fares to get to the venue!

On the broader subject of motorsport, I've watched a bit of the TT this month. Mainly for the scenery, as I visited the Isle of Man for last year's Easter weekend.
