Hey my name is David and I found out that I am on the spectrum of autism! One year ago diagnosed by a doctor It's a crazy feeling to find out why things have been sorta tough in some areas. I have been to 6 counsellors and 4 siciatrists don't know how to spell that word but nothing makes me feel that great cause no one understands me I'm new to this and hopefully all get a better feeling that I'm not alone in this. People don't usually understand the whole views and points i say and I'm very angry when people tell me what I should do and what I shouldn't I'm introducing my self David and I'm 21.

Hello David, and welcome to AC! :)

I hope you enjoy talking to people here, and I'm sure you will find us all a friendly bunch of people :D

Hi David, welcome to aspies central. You have plenty of time to work through the issues.

I am 48 and it has been a bumpy road for me as I was only diagnosed this year.
I have seen two Psychiatrists, one for a partially diagnoses then to a specialist.

Hi David :D

Welcome aboard! I too understand what it's like for others not to understand the way which you reason, and process your thoughts. I also don't like being told what to do, haha, I guess I can be stubborn when I want to be.

I have found, while many times it can be frustrating, the act of explaining how you come to your conclusions, can help others understand your logic, and hopefully, see your point of view.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll find soon enough that there are many on here that can easily relate to you :)
