Glad to Be Here

I am 25 and struggling with my Aspergers in finding a full time job. Even with four living and supportive parents, I have problems and still feel surprisingly alone. I am hoping through this site I can learn healthy coping skills. Thank you for this wonderful site!

Many of us struggle with different things. There are many great people here and you are likely to get some good advice and ideas. I am glad that you found this place, and look forward to hearing more from you. I am somewhat older than you and have Always had trouble finding employment (or keeping it). It is difficult to find a job that will accommodate or differences. I wish you all the luck my dear.

Hi Elise, welcome to AC. Yes, holding a job is one thing. Just getting your foot in the door quite another at times. That's always been daunting for me.
 
I always had trouble finding a full time job and when I do get a job, they normally want to let me go. Right now I taking a business program that the government covers my living expenses while I try to build my business. I hope things work out for me and I hope you manage to find a good job in the future. Nice to see you join.

You're very fortunate to have family support, though there's nothing like the company of others who share your struggles and have/had many of the same questions, concerns, and experiences.
