Going to a theme park

I’m going to sea world with my friend today and I am wondering if there are any tips I should know of. We both have disability passes and will be leaving at 9:30am to get there when the park opens.

If you don't suffer with motion sickness or vertigo then I don't think there are really many tips you really need to enjoy yourself at a theme park.
I hope you have a fantastic day!

Maybe keep an extra close eye on your phone and wallet? There are often pickpockets at such places. Places where there are many people and crowds. And they are very good at what they do.

Definitely heed the pickpocket advice. A fanny pack is a great alternative to a purse. Comfortable shoes really helps. I like a map so l don't get lost. Snacks like nuts or crackers, granola bars are great. And patience, could be a lot of people who aren't all polite and civil. At Disney world, we encountered rude people at the teacups ride. Somebody was fighting with someone else over a particular teacup they wanted to sit in. I definitely have been pickpocketed in Florida. We have so many tourists, so it is a reality.

Do they have rollercoasters there? If they do, don't let anyone talk you into getting on one of those nighmares if you think it looks too high or big. I did, it'll be fun they said. Just get on it, they said, it'll be great. And I did. And it was the worst thing ever! I wanted to slap those people a little who talked me into it. :)

I love rollercoasters. If you are the first to ride, they really let it rip, then it's tame after that. But the wooden rollercoaster felt more jarring then the metal coasters at Bush Gardens. They do have a mini coaster rides in the child area @Forest Cat :) lol

Watch out for the seagulls who will try to steal anything edible from you. Especially when feeding some of the nicer critters in Sea World.

The good news? It's hindsight I learned from the last trip to Sea World. Nothing funnier than my sweet cousin who was all prepared to feed a baby whale when a gull stole it. Her reaction was priceless, but not pretty.

The bad news? It was before you were born. Oh well...have fun anyways. And be aware of the attractions in which you are bound to get soaked before sitting down to watch them. It happens! :D

I had a moment when I was considering my life choices, I was doing 60mph upside down 100 feet above the ground and I was not happy about the choices I had made. ;) I was strapped to this thing:

I like rollercoasters but the last time I went on some I kept suffering after effects from the G-force. After each ride I felt light-headed like I was lacking oxygen. While on the rides I felt I couldn't breathe when it went down a vertical hill, also I felt like I was thrown about and I got an awful headache.
The others I was with didn't seem to suffer any effects of G-force, only one had a headache like me.

I love heights but I wish the speed was a little slower, or that there was a screen or something to lessen the G-force.

My friend Kay’s ray ban sunglasses were stolen sadly :(

Wondering if "Shamu The Killer Whale" still performs there.

But if so, that it's probably all audio-animatronics, kind of like Keith Richards.

A Stepford Whale? Go figure.
