Have you ever spilled anything over your keyboard?

I used to have a habit of eating while using the computer, so yes many things have been spilled over the keyboard.

Probably at some point, but I can't remember the last time. My mom spilled coffee all over her laptop a while back. It still works, but the touchpad quit working (easy enough to remedy by plugging in a USB mouse).

I think I'm the only one so far that hasn't really spilled anything over my keyboard but I do have the habit of getting bits of food in between the keyboard (which I do clean the keyboard afterwards).

I was talking to my mum on Skype and showed her the fresh salad id just made, but i tipped it forwards too much and the vinaigrette dressing went all over the keyboard, i never heard the last of THAT

I haven't spilled anything on mine either, and I eat around my computer every day.

The morning after one of my birthdays I spilled coffee all over my laptop. Cost me a good $100 to fix.

A couple of months after I bought my Macbook Pro, I spilled wine over it. The fix for that? $300+ dollars!

Lesson: 1) get a keyboard cover to ensure little bits of dirt and such don't sneak in, and 2) just don't let myself have any liquids anywhere near my laptop.
