I am a father of a child on the spectrum, he is highly functional but had extreme difficulty doing certain things. Just here to get a little advice on some topics and add my two cents if I know an answer to a specific question from my experience. THANKS !!

Your child has strengths and some weaknesses as we all do. Just do your best to help them overcome those areas, and show them how they shine. My child was bubbly and loving life. I never judged her. She is now on to her masters. Yes, she played Pokémon heavily for about three years of her life. Hey, no biggie.
