Hello and goodbye

It's obvious I made a mistaken joining this forum. From what I've seen, it's not much different than some of the others I've looked at.

What is it that you do not like about this particular forum? And what are you looking for in a forum?

I agree with Kelly. What are you looking for on a forum?

Also, if there are things bothering you, you're free to contact staff. Perhaps these matters can be looked into and improved in the future.

The posts by Tardis. I'm not interested in debate or people looking to start an argument. I got enough of that on Wrong Planet. I thought this place would be different.

Fair enough, but on the other hand... debates and arguments are to some extent what most forums are about, at least in my experience. I guess there is however something to be said about the way how arguments and debates end up. And if anything, we surely don't want to have people around that argue for the sake of arguing (or trolling), yet we as staff can't remove any of these "toxic" people right away. So in a way, there should be cause for us to step in. And that is how any forum will handle it. That's with aspieforums, but any special interest forum.

Besides; I find it interesting you're letting your forum activity be influenced by a single member. If specific members keep up with their shenanigans and other members, such as yourself (or staff) will deem it detrimental and/or disruptive for the forum in a big way, these people will be dealt with.

If you decide to give this forum another shot, again, feel free to contact staff about it. It can't hurt to let staff look into specific examples. It shouldn't be necessary for it to be like this, but forums are never flawless. There are always a few members around that will, for a short period, give staff a reason why they shouldn't be around on certain forums for a long time.

This place imo is different. I'm not attacking you. But in every forum there always will be a few we don't get along with. Sometimes perservering on a forum either thru lurking, posting & avoiding certain people gives us more time to fairly judge a forum. Whether you stay or leave I wish you the best.
