Hey Grayman,
Idk, but I think there is a place where ASD and NT personality types overlap. Where it is hard to distinguish one from another. I'll call it the 'Gray Zone'. ;)

Anyway, there are others here like that and you are most welcome.

Hi Grayman, it's OK, not like there's a litmus test--though I do think it's interesting that over time NTs reveal themselves, whether they mean to or not. It's useful to know where the differences lie if misunderstandings arise. Social issues get expressed as communication issues quite a lot!

While I see the core of the site is aspie, a lot of us also have other issues--the ones I've seen most often recently are bipolar, major chronic depression, ADD/ADHD, Tourette's, and I'm sure I've forgotten a few. Welcome to the "family" ;)

Welcome Grayman.
Maybe a dumb question, but what do you mean by 'sad'? (edit - don't worry I googled it)
Feel free to browse around the site, and join in where you like.
If you are interested in seeing whether you fit the aspergers profile, there are some online tests you can do - there's links somewhere on the forums.
Also, I recommend reading Tony Attwood's 'Complete guide to aspergers', and despite the title, Rudy Simone's 'Aspergirls'.

Er..... I think there may be some Bi Polar and SAD in the genetics...... but there could be more than just that as well..........

not depressed though....... hmmm...... In fact, um. hmmm.... I love to cheer people up! too much!

Hey zurb I did a few online tests after my pysc had mentioned aspergers to me , I'm no longer with that pysc changing places (you probably know how it is with mental health sadly :( ) . It did come up as slightly less than high on this test . I have a anxiety management class coming up soon but i dunno what's what with anything any more . Anyway it's nice to meet you I just thought I would give a a reply not to be rude n all :) best wishes

Get out!!! I love your avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That cat looks extremely grumpy!!! A big Grumpy Cat welcome!!!

Grayman, I too am new here as of today. I just wanted to say that I understand the pain and seclusion of Social Anxiety Disorder, as its something I have struggled with since my early teens. Hang in there, you're doing the right thing by reaching out to other folks who are in a similar place.
