Hey guys! I'm new here, and looking forward to read your threads at this forum! It's great with a place to talk with people that have similar (and same) disorders as me. I really need it nowadays (lol don't know if that's spelled right).
If you haven't noticed, english isn't my first language. In fact, i'm a 16 year old Danish girl and i'm still in 9th grade, and is there for still learning.
I got diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome a little more than a year ago, after the teachers on my old school noticed my difficulties/issues. They tried to help me, being comfortable and all, but i just couldn't. Dealing with my new discoveries, entering puberty (the teen stage) and the new changes in school. I got to much stress and different stuff to get used to. Try getting used to all of the sudden getting up earlier, longer days and changed meeting-and break times. It was just to much. So i flung out.
After a half years home-studies with a teacher coming to teach me, i got into a special school in Arden, and has almost finished my first school year there. It's so nice to be around people, that has it like me (kinda), but also a bit difficult at times with loud children and all that, but it's getting better and better. Really exited to finish 10th grade here and move on to becoming a Zoo-keeper.
It's a long way to go, but i'll manage! Long-ass intro, sorry, but i ramble sometimes LOL. Hope to hear from some of you -.o .
