Hello, another later in life diagnosis here; 2016 to be exact. Originally suggested by our marriage counselor, (in the first session!) Later confirmed by a different therapist. Still working on the marriage front but i also think I just need to talk to other people like me. Several special interests but mainly cars/motorcycles/engines/transportation. My parents say I would crawl around with a hot wheels in each hand making car sounds before I could walk. Looking forward to learning and contributing where I can :)

That part about about playing with Hot Wheels before you talk kind of reminds me of how my first word was actually “cookie.” (Albeit, pronounced “coogie”) :p

That was my daughter's second word!
