Hello. I live near the NYC/Long Island area (won't go too specific). I just found this site so I decided to register to check it out. It seems a lot more positive than on other autism message boards and I like it. I'm not officially diagnosed despite having most of the symptoms and having the typical co-morbid conditions (ADHD, anxiety, depression)... Maybe I will get evaluated someday if I see a benefit to it. Anyway, I look forward to meeting you all and hope to have discussions about random things from the meaning of life to how many scars there are in your body (I thought that was an interesting thread :|)...:D

Hi, I'm also in NY (Staten Island) originally from Louisiana.
There are quite a few interesting threads here =) And everyone is rather nice.

Hi dizzy! I'm actually in NYC itself...I was just little paranoid about revealing too much too soon. I'm from out of state too (west coast). How's NY compared to Louisiana?

Oh, it's just awful. Everything is concrete, and I'm a country bumpkin. I need some SWAMPS to play in.
And people get offended by "Ma'am" and "Sir."

I've been to the west coast before (California.)
