Hi, I'm Isaac. I've posted in a few threads, but I haven't introduced myself. I was diagnosed with Aspergers in 4th grade. School administrators in my district had never had to deal with someone with Aspergers before and none of the "help" that they tried to give me was remotely helpful. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that crap anymore. Now, I'm in college studying physics and I love it.

When I told my girlfriend that I have Aspergers, she wasn't surprised at all. She's been pretty cool about it.

Hi Isaac! Welcome to Aspies Central. So glad that you're doing well. Keep up the amazing work! Also glad to hear that you're girlfriend is so supportive of you. It's really nice to hear that there are people who accept individuals with AS for who they are, let alone understand it. If only everyone was like that...but unfortunately, as you have illustrated, that isn't the way it is for everyone. For that reason, I feel good knowing that there are people in this world who accept us for who we are and do their best to understand what we're going through.

Hope you are enjoying everything we have to offer here and that you continue to post often.

I must say, from when I was in primary school, I don't think even the school was really aware of the fact that I was diagnosed with autism nor did they ever deal with anyone like that as far as I recall correctly. Moved to a different school as a result.

My partner knows about this and is in full support, the fact she has the heart to help which does make a difference imo.

When I read this introduction, it made me think to myself, wow. Not only do I somewhat relate to this but see you as a rather blessed person to know someone like this that loves you for you. How long have you both been together?

Also, welcome aboard to Aspies Central forums.
