Hello there

I'm new to this forum so I think that it will be good to introduce myself. I rarely share personal informations on the Internet but if i do here, nothing will hurt me.

I'm so happy that I discovered this site (by searching differences between autism and intj personality type but that's different history). Since march this year I have been interested with autism spectrum topic in general. I have done some probably quite big research but I'm always curious about new informations. I want to get some knowledge about personal experience.

I think that I might be on autism spectrum. When I was reading or listening to so many characteristics I realized that they suit me maybe too well and can explain my acts in my whole life. But I prefer to get diagnosis from a group of specialist before I share this guesses with people that I know in real. Unfortunalely I must to wait a while (hm, probably for long time) to get posibility going to specialists.

Well, now I will share some facts about me:

- I'm a highschool student right now

- I like listening to music, philosophy, psychology, drawing, writing, manga, cartoons and maybe chemistry (I think only philosophy and autism topics can be named 'my current special interests' but they will stay with me forever and other are my past fixations but I always back them except I listen to it always when I have a chance).

My posts will include stories about my life and interests also some qustions. Feel free to share your experience under them. I will read them with joy.

Sorry for my not so good English if it is

.

Salutations and welcome to the forums. I think your English is quite good, especially if it is not your native language. I would not worry about it as you express yourself well and are easily understood.

There are all types here, some coping very well, others struggling, but all sharing a common bond, so join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Welcome! As you've likely found, we've had some discussion on the past about MB personality types, and IN-- seems to be a quadrant that many of us fall in.

If you have a school counselor, they may be able to evaluate you for autism for free.

Hi and welcome, you can pick up a lot about the autism spectrum here, do post threads and join in discussions. I hope you will enjoy it here and find it useful and supportive.

It seems easier getting a diagnosis these days, but only recently so for girls, who may be mask more fully and go unnoticed, take a look at the Jessica Kingsley publishers catalogue for texts by women with Autism and clinicians about this.
