Hello everyone, it is now 1:47 in the afternoon and I'm at the moment relaxing at home since now I'm on my holidays from college and the purpose of this thread is really to say hello and how you doing, just that kind of stuff really.

So yea, hello. :)

Hey everyone, hopefully I'll have a good day today, well its going to be 95+ outside, yuck.
Hello Coldkick, the heat outside is literally now getting to the point where its driving me nuts also the annoying constant weather changes where I'am.

I think its fairly good temperature out there but night times are literally the worse where the whole house would just be hot, even with the heating switched off, its just as bad.

Sometimes, I would have to turn on the fan at full blast to actually work for me.

Hey everyone, it's nearly twenty to four and i'm about to go outside with my brother. Going to get a new pair of shoes since my DC's are wrecked.

What's everyone else up to?

10:54 AM here. Procrastinating. Later in the day, I will go into the hot and humid forest and ignore both the weather and the mosquitoes so that I can collect some data. I am a grad student in biology which is extremely stressful. But I do intensely love the mice I study.

Firnafth,Awsome! What species of mice, and where? Going out into any wild place to gather data is worth any minor annoyance that you may encounter.Have fun!

Peromyscus leucopus, the white-footed mouse. They are very cute. I am now done with summer data collection, and wish I could do something for the winter but I don't think I'm going to get my act together for that. I have other things to do. Do you like rodents too?

Love them, and used to keep the common 'roof rats' as pets untill my aunt discovered the cage that I had constructed along the walk-in closet.I have forgotten their full proper name [Pestis] I believe. She was frightend at the 'possibility that I would introduce the 'bubonic plague' and had slaughtered all six of them. They were higly intelligent, and I had trained them to bring me pencils, paper, erasers and other items to me. I also had trained one to turn the 'on' knob to my radio by just clicking my tongue three times in a row. they were highly affectionate and would 'mark me with their sent as a rat,or mouse does if he considers you one of their own.how ever my aunt could not stand this 'smell' and so in searching as to why I had 'smelled like a rat' destroyed them. Also the White-footed mice make very good pets,as do the australian varieties.

12:45am, I'm currently stuck on the internet and listening to my music and thinking about the best things that has happened today and I'm so happy that today turned out to be such an amazing day altogether. :D

That's nice! I hope you have many more wonderfully happy days,as this makes life much more enjoyable!:)

Hello. It is 11:15 AM and I am sitting in direct sunlight at my desk. It is annoying, but otherwise I am in a good mood.

1:24pm - I'm WORRIED!!! All I have in my head is just more and more worries, not good at all, not good. :(

I would recommend meditation as a way to ease the anxiety associated with "worry".

I really like listening to Jack Kornfield teach meditation techniques, so I included a beginners one here for you. I ran across him when I was trying to learn more about Buddhism. Here is a link with more info about him in video and written formats. http://eomega.org/omega/faculty/viewProfile/e87c2a6f0fab038dc4f158e76c76654e/

Maybe this could help.

PS. I'm not pushing a religion, just suggesting a calming meditation.

Well, I don't know about superboyian, but watching that video and being reminded that I can sit and relax made me feel a whole lot better (I've been stressed lately). Thanks, jaws.

That's actually kinda helped but it seems that I do now feel alot more better now than I did when I last time posted. :D
So I guess that's a good relief for some stress?

:)I like the 'Chi sequences' as these would be a good way of loosening ones muscles after sitting in lab all day. This also would be good to de-stress before going to sleep.
