Hello to everyone!

Well first I'd like to say hello to everyone. I'm 38 years old and have just been told by the group named North West Autism Center. Northwest Autism Center who had me do a questionare to see if I have Autism. On the test thingy you have Autism if you score 70 or higher I scored 192 on the test thingy. Now the thing with North West Autism Center is they don't diagnose, so I have to go to one of the people on the list they gave me to get an official diagnosis. So that is where I'm at in my journey in finding out if I'm autistic.

Welcome to the forums! I hope you make new friends and enjoy your stay in the process! :)

Hi Faeth Silverwolf :)

welcome to af.png

Welcome. It can be difficult and expensive sometimes to get an actual diagnosis, which is probably why many on this site is self diagnosed and content with just knowing themselves. I hope this site gives you a place to come and feel part of something and a place for answers.

Hi there, Faeth Silverwolf. From your description, it appears you have embarked down a very interesting path. I visited the link to NAC and found their orginazation to be interesting as well. I do hope that you have been referred to a clinical doctor who can legally test and officially provide an official diagnosis if needed. Remember you are in control of the process. Ask a ton of questions at each step. If you aren’t comfortable, have someone with you that will ask a ton of questions. Relate your experience here in AutismFourms. I wish the best for you as you work thru this.

Thank you for your warm welcome. I hope to make some friends here. Truth be told I'm not very good at making friends so this will be a challenge for me. I'm up to the challenge though.

Welcome! Most of us struggle to make friends. That’s a common piece to our unique puzzles. But I think you will find that making friends here is easier than doing so anywhere else.
