Hi folks,

I'll keep it short. I am a student by day, and a drag queen promoter by night. I'm in marketing, basically. I like anime, and am surprisingly extroverted.

I don't have a formal diagnosis (I recently found information about girls with high-functioning autism), but I've been looking for an answer my whole life. I never understood why everyone saw me as so sensitive, so unusual.. And why I never understood how people seem to get through life so carelessly.

I felt like there were rules around socializing, and nobody gave me the handbook. Strangely enough, communication has become my "special interest." I spend hours and hours learning how to communicate, and how people think.

So, I am learning to live happily despite my overwhelming anxiety about trying new things, and focusing on closing the gap on all of the skill-building I missed growing up.

I can't wait to hear from you all,
Lindsey (MrsPB)

Welcome, it sounds like you are doing a great job overcoming your difficulties and not seeing them as limitations. Keep it up!

If I may ask, what got you into your night job?

Sure. My sibling is a drag queen. They came up with the idea to host a show in our town, and I jumped at the chance to help. I make the fliers, promote us online, and fill in any other work that needs to get done in running the show.
