Hello! :)

My name is TheChickenFromOuterSpace, and I am a thirteen
old girl. I have only been recently diagnosed as an aspie, by my school psychologist, but I have suspected for a long time I might have it, along with some other disorders. I am very excited to join the community, and it's a pleasure meeting all of you! I look forward to having some fun, maybe making some friends, and learning a little more about my Asperger's syndrome.

I suppose I should tell you some stuff about me. I like fairly basic things, such as watching cartoons and playing video games. I don't really do much in my spare time besides browse the Internet (and drawing), so don't be surprised to find me here a lot! :)

Welcome! Look forward to reading your posts. What caused you to suspect that you were on the spectrum? (I was clueless until my doctor pointed it out.)

Hi Aspergirl4hire,
I've always had trouble understanding things, whether it's directions or just how to act around other people. I also have a hobby to look up certain topics online. One time, my choice of study was about mental disorders, including Asperger's. When I read the symptoms for girls, I found a lot of things in common, and ever since then, I've been waiting to see whether I was right. I finally got tested, and it turned out I was! :)

Welcome :)

You'll find our community is rather friendly, and supportive, here, so feel free to join in on our many conversations. There's also the option of starting your own blog posts, if you would like, and we have a media section, if you'd like to post any pictures. Feel free to check the resources section too. I've added a few links, which you might find interesting.
