Hello

Ovaltine Overdose

I've been lurking here for about 2 weeks and decided it's finally time to introduce myself. I'm 19 going on 20 and diagnosed with Asperger's as long as I can remember. My current plans for the future just went up in smoke as I'm trying to figure out what to switch my college major to; so I'm looking for a place where I can browse with people similar to me and maybe vent some stress.

My interests are scattered everywhere, but I mostly focus on Philosophy and Psychology. I have hundreds of books from all of human history, but I've only read a few of them from a lack of time; trying to juggle both college and a work schedule. My favorite writers are Nietzsche and Dostoevsky. I write creatively as a hobby, but I don't have much to show for it because I struggle to stay on one idea for too long.

I don't like to share too much, and if I do I end up writing an essay on myself before I've even realized it, so I'll cut it off here. Maybe I can elaborate more once I get to know people.

Hi and welcome. So, what happens if you OD on ovaltine? Is it like, scary?! I'd say, Just say No, but it's pretty hard to say No to ovaltine. Hopefully being here will help you keep to a balanced intake of the beverage... we also have (virtual ) coffee and doughnuts! I hope you enjoy it here, and find it useful and supportive.

Great you are here. College can be a very tough time when your first choice you decide on isn't no longer available. Good luck on your major choice.

Perhaps you will find time to talk about your passions like ovaltine. My memories are my grandmother and that beverage.

Welcome.

Hello and welcome...I would recommend reading some Solzhenitsyn, if you havent, it is tremendously rich and synchronous with your other authors, The First Circle is particularly good!
