Hello everyone
Obviously this is my first post here. I would like to go by my internet name Traveller
I'm a university student and I live outside of the USA. I haven't been officially diagnosed yet but I'm fairly certain I am on the spectrum.
My hobbies revolve around art and culture, I especially enjoy observing and contemplating about all the various types of art (especially music, I would like to get into music one day) and reading pretty much anything: manga, novels, etc.

I've been lurking here for a while and this is my first time socialising with other people whom are on the spectrum like me, I'd like to think this forum is one of the better ones when it comes to bringing people on the spectrum together.

I Hope I get to know new people here.

I graduated with degrees in math, chemistry, and computer science many years ago. More recently I graduated with a Ph.D. in Organization Leadership.
That's Impressive, Congratulations on your Ph.D.
Could I take a wild guess and say you're more of a video games person?

Welcome. As you see there are many wide ranging discussions. I hope to see you contribute here.
I hope I get the opportunity to contribute and help the community around here

@Traveller__ , I have difficulty grasping most popular games. Haven’t really tried video games. I do like Chess though.

Heck, I’m an old guy; I’m even having difficulty figuring out how to edit and add an emoji.

Welcome!

When I'm travelling and especially when visiting a country or region for the first time, I love taking the local transit to visit supermarkets. Seeing how people get around, getting away from the touristy areas and into the more residential areas, and seeing what the supermarkets sell and what people are buying, I find that quite fascinating. Kind of like a quick mini-immersion in a different culture.

Welcome! :)

We have some similar interests. Art and music and reading are some of my special interests, and I like learning Spanish.

I hope you like it here! There are a lot of great conversations to join in on, and lots of friendly and supportive people.

Don´t think too much of it, I´m quite young yet I run away from technology as much as I can and hate e-socialising (emojis, social media, texting)
I think AutismForums is going to be the exception.

Seems like something I would enjoy, granted I didn´t travel to another country but one of my most enjoyable pastimes is taking an exploratory walk around the city.

That´s great, we could be learning partners if you are motivated enough!
most people who are on the spectrum that I know about are more into analytical stuff .. machines, video games etc.
I know too few to make an assumption though.
