My name is Joe, i am 26 years old. and i have undiagnosed aspergers. my school years i have struggled in between being bullied by teachers and students, and by trying to go back to my home planet, no one knew what was wrong with me, and just kept filling my mouth with medications. they diagnosed me with anxiety, ocd, depression, adhd when i was in school, but now that i am an adult they say that nothing can be done. i graduated from high school since 2006. i have spent 7 years in side my house and only go outside for 15 minutes a day, thats 7.30 minutes in the morning and 7.30 minutes in the evening. spend all my day inside on the computer, or listening to music.

I really would like to socialize and have someone to talk to.

Welcome Joe. This may not be our home planet, but it's a great place to discover so many with so much in common. You aren't alone here.

Hi Joe, I've got all my shades pulled down on the windows and I'm crocheting a blanket that I've been working on for quite some time. I need a lot of solitude as well. I don't mind going outside and getting air sometimes changing sides of the street every now and then to avoid possible eye contact with people, but sometimes even buying a bag of ordinary potatoes at the grocery store can be a nerve wracking experience especially when someone's standing in the entrance asking for money or someone's blocking an aisle. Every time I go up to the produce section at a grocery store I get a weird mantra running through my head telling me that I'd better not touch the potatoes with my hands or the store clerk's going to bark at me and tell me to use the plastic gloves. Cripes, they have dirt on them, don't they? So to be a little rebellious, what I do is ditch the gloves (because I don't think they get recycled and it's going to contaminate the environment and I'd be at fault for it), but grab the potatoes by turning the plastic bag inside out with my hands inside and grab them through the plastic into the bag. Joe, I know that a lot of people here are going to understand they way you think and accept you for who you are. Reach out, make life's challenges a creative game and have fun.
