Hello-I just found this website online.

I am 52 and was diagnosed with autism and adhd inattentive type last year.

I’m still trying to figure this out, still feeling major imposter syndrome.

I really didn’t realize how long it takes to “find” oneself when you’ve been hiding yourself for so long.

It’s like slowly peeling back layers and layers that I didn’t even realize were there…there have been so many “Aha!” moments with, I’m sure, many more to come.

Now it seems Alexithymia may be in my mix too…yay.

Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy to have direction and some answers but geez!

I feel like I got diagnosed then thrown into a sensory deprivation tank to find help.

Anyway, maybe I’ll make some friends here, idk.
