Hello

Welcome :)

I suppose it depends on many factors; if you feel you would like to give it a try, it might be worth pursuing. Perhaps if you tell us a little more about yourself, we can get a general idea of your personal situation.

Screaming kids make me want to claw my ears out. But maybe thats just me. You must like kids if you are thinking about it. My advice is that you cant be what you are not so pick a career that compliments your strengths and weaknesses .

Nobody is like you, so embrace yourself, and be who you are. As my sister says "You, do You!" like be who you are. "Do you".

That's a critical consideration for any Aspie joining the workforce. The foresight of accommodating yourself with your career. Something I never had, and ended up working in a capacity that didn't suit my being autistic. I did well, but it was often agonizing. I threw in the towel after nearly 20 years.

Do what works for you. Of course you also can't ignore the obvious, such as the limitations of a recovering economy placed on jobs funded by taxpayers' revenue. Something anyone pondering the teaching profession must carefully consider whether it matches their neurological abilities or not.
