Hey.
My name is Aiden, I'm 21 years old, I come from Warrington, UK. I was diagnosed when I was five years old of Aspergers Syndrome. My parents just had a inkling that there was something 'weird' or 'off' about me so they had me checked out.
I have many interests. A big interest for me is gaming, and also computers. At the moment, I own an Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, Dreamcast, two PS1s and two original Xbox consoles. The reason why I own two Xboxes is because one has a faulty disk drive, and the reason why I own two PS1s is because I later purchased one of the original hardware revisions from a local charity shop for £10 (!!!) Had a lot of fun with it too. So as you can see, I'm pretty nuts when it comes to this stuff. I'm subscribed to a lot of youtube channels dedicated to gaming history etc. Anybody who wants to talk games, please get in touch!
Apart from all that, I'm also very much into audio engineering and music production. I've been playing piano for around five years on and off, and I've been playing drums for close to six years on and off. Basically, whenever I can get the chance to, I will.
I'm currently studying for a degree in Commercial Music Production at my local university, and I've recorded bands among other things for a few years. My major achievement in that area so far was probably working in a team of people on an ADR project. If you're still reading, the project was based around a clip in a film (The class got split into groups, and were given a different clip each; We got a scene out of 007 GoldenEye), and we had to completely re-record all of the dialogue, music, and SFX for the clip. I was on SFX duties and had to make a huge list of sounds and where they appear in the clip, make notes in terms of dynamics and possible EQ changes, record the sound files, and then deliver them back to the studio at the next session. It was very time-consuming but was so worth it at the end. If anybody is interested in seeing the final product, let me know and I'll find it and post a link.
I'm going to attach a recent picture of myself, just to assure you all that I'm not a robot.
If you've got this far, then I applaud your attention span. And I thank you for reading.
Aiden.
