Hey'o

im bored this evening so I ithought I'd join another forum. I'm not sure wither or not Im on the spectrum, but I can relate to/shair a lot of traits that people on the spectrum have. I figured Id join the forum just to talk to people. It's Friday night and I don't feel like doing homework. I live at home with my parents. I Go to a university. It kinda sucks living at home when nearly everyone I come in contact with lives at school or near school in an apartment. It makes you feel disconnected and left out.

I live at home because I didn't want to leave my cat, she's my best friend. plus everyone around me told me that I would hate living on campus.

I've never blended in with my peers, that fact that it bothers me is a relatively new feeling. Does it ever bother any of you guys?

Welcome aboard. I have accepted "not blending" with my peers or most people. Enjoy the forums. There is also a chatroom that people occasionally visit.

I would trust your close friends and family to give you good advice.

I have lived near college students off campus. They exclusively drink, party, loud revelry long into the night past curfew. I accept the bad with the good though. The students are incredibly happy with such positive hope for starting their lives! They want to change the world to a better place! Such joy! Youthful enthusiasm is deliriously contagious! I missed continuing education, so this is a nice substitute. sharing the environment. lingering on the edges . ALMOST mingling at the coffee shop. ha ha ha. There is always the book shop.

I am excited if I ever do attend college. The beautiful -better than me- "peers" (they are younger than me now) no longer intimidate me. They do not bring immense PANIC attacks. They can't judge me. I saw them half naked, throwing up in bushes after a wicked street party. They have no dignity. They have no right to judge me. anymore. It's a great liberating feeling, actually.

I don't know if that helps you any. but I did suffer from quite a lot of ANXIETY and FEAR. it seems like others here also feel the same.

Cats do not like to move. I see signs every August seeking lost cats.
