Hi everyone

Adora

Well-Known Member
Hi I just joined here I just found out late last year that I have Aspergers and C-PTSD im a 32 year female from Australia and live with my husband and also my older brother who has classic autism and I'm his full time carer,I came here to try to know other people since I struggle with making friends in real life I hope to be able to get to know others with similar stories and maybe similar interests to mine.

Hi Adora,
I just joined myself & I thought I would say hi before I go do my own intro.
I'm a 48 year old woman who has just realised I have Aspergers - I guess we are both in similar, odd times.
Hope to chat with you x

Yeah I'm in the same situation just found out that Ive got Aspergers and it did make sense of a lot of stuff,I hope that we could chat soon :-)

I would have answered sooner but I was procrastinating over my title.
I'm a bit face-palm that I didn't see it sooner but I'm right in the "making sense of things" phase.
I've stopped feeling guilty all the time & I can think more clearly.

Same trying to piece my life together now that I look right back including my childhood the signs were there

How about...
We start a new thread in the general Private Discussion section (this intro part is open to non members)
Call it "Two Aspie Women on opposite sides of the World"
with everyone welcome to join in, and we can carry on chatting there?

Hi Adora! (what a beautiful name)

I hope you do find some support in the community.
And as you've found out, you can open a private conversation with whoever you want from the forum. I'm sure everybody here will be happy to write you back.

In any case, be very welcome!:D

Welcome aboard :)
