Hi Everyone

My name is JaeVee and I am an OLD Autistic, in my 7th decade of life. I was in my fifties before being diagnosed. I am a mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great grandmother. Some of the kids are also Autistic, a few are neurotypical, and some are otherwise creatively wired.

I have a dream of starting an Autistic community within an already existing community here in Pueblo CO. I also have been the coordinator for AutHaven, a yearly Autistic retreat but my youngest son is taking over this year.

I have a you tune channel where we discuss the things mentioned above, being autistic and old, CPTSD, among other things.

I occasionally go on wrong planet but it has some problems with some real meaness.[plenty of awesome people too] where I have witnessed much bullying. I have heard that there is less of that here.

Hi JaeVee and welcome. This is a very friendly place. I hope you enjoy your stay.

I am new here too and enjoying catching up with everyone.

Welcome! We have a lot of young 'uns, but we have people your age as well. I hope you find this a comfortable place to hang around. :)

Welcome, JaeVee! It is a pleasure to meet you. I hope you feel among friends here. I am 51, and we have other valued members here in their 60s and 70s. An autistic community? The very idea of such a wondrous place sounds intriguing, nature-y, and peaceful. I look forward to reading you here! Enjoy! :)
