Hi guys...

Grey Fox

Well-Known Member
Who I am:
My name's Patrick.
I was diagnosed with Asperger's along with my twin brother last year, though my mom has always suspected it. She's worked with autistic and "special needs" children for most of her professional life.

Why I'm here:
I've always had an incredibly difficult time making friends in person, and although I've been seeing a counsellor who is trying to assist me with improving my social interaction skills, I still have a very difficult time with it. I currently only have one friend, and I get lonely quite often. I would like to make more friends, and it seems practical to look for for some here.

A little more about me:
I love programming and "hacking". It consumes a majority of my time :P
I love chocolate (especially white chocolate).
I listen to hardstyle, dubstep, and hardcore varieties of electronic music, as well as death metal and various misc. songs of different genres.
I love playing instruments. The electric guitar is my specialty.

Anyway... This seems like a neat forum, and I can't wait to get reading/start socializing with you guys.

Welcome to the forums. Is your username in any way a reference to the Metal Gear Solid videogame series?

Hi Patrik :D

Electric Guitar rules! which guitar do you have... i currently own a rubbish Fender copy, but i am picking up my new ibenez next month

How do you do?

@Calvert: Haha yeah, Metal Gear Solid was my favorite game (besides Final Fantasy, of course :P ) when I was younger.

@Tetsuo: I have an Ibanez EX guitar. What model are you planning on getting next month?

@???: I'm well, thank you. How are you?

@Firnafth: Thank you :)

Hey Grey Fox and welcome to Aspies Central, it seems that members have made friends more easily and we seem like a friendly bunch of people so it seems like you are at the right place. :)

Welcome Grey Fox! I too have enjoyed many hours with Metal Gear Solid. Personally I think everyone here is awsome, and I hope you enjoy our company.

Hi Grey Fox

Ibanez GRGR121EX - Candy Apple... i know its only at the cheep end of the scale but they do sound very nice :D

Thanks jaws and suberboyian. I feel welcome :)

//I'm tempted to buy an old PS2 so that I can sit back and enjoy endless hours of MGS VR Missions, MGS1, 2, and 3, but I'm afraid if I did I wouldn't have time for anything else!
I like using Grey Fox as my alias because I used to be (not so much anymore) a very active member in the underground hacking scene.
Does Cyber ninja = Cyborg ninja? I think so... The difference is just in semantics, which tend to be ambiguous in the English language :P

I amazingly enough still own one of those old ps2 consoles and I must say, they are well good even though it's old school.
I think nowadays they will come cheap since nobody really buys them much anymore.

For me, when I'm gaming I tend to give myself a certain limits and I must admit, sometimes I actually do go a little overboard with my gaming that I end up forgetting other things that I was supposed to do.

The best time would be when you have all the free time there is.
