Hi :) hoping to find some new friends

The Phantom

Well-Known Member
Hey everyone,

This is going to come out sounding stupid, but it's worth a shot. So, you might be able to tell, but I'm new to Aspie Central. I will go more in-depth on myself later, but in the meantime I would like to find some friends to talk to (sounds lame, I know). So if you're interested, please say hi. I am a very young member, but I am interested in ALL ages, so please, anyone's greeting will be appreciated. Sorry if this comes out a bit awkward, I'm never good at online chat.
Like I said, I'm not going to talk too much about myself right now, but by my name and picture I'm sure you'll be able to tell something

Yeah recently got into it I love the story:)

I'm new to Phantom as well! I saw it in January and absolutely loved it! Probably because I felt the Phantom oddly relatable. In fact, one of the men who played the Phantom based his portrayal on the basis of the Phantom having Aspergers. It's not an official part of the Phantom, but that's how he approached the character. I found that really interesting.

Yeah that is interesting I haven't seen the musical but I seen the movies and got the book aswell but I would like to see the musical.

Same!

I just realized, did that influence your username?
Yes, it did, as well as my avatar. I chose the avatar because it's a reference to both my love of prog rock (Pink Floyd's DSOTM being representative of the genre) and being on the spectrum at the same time.

Wow, I would have never thought of it that way. That's really clever!

I just chose the picture for my signature because of A. My love for Pink Floyd (and Dark Side of the Moon) and B. Cosmic or otherwordly visuals

My username + profile picture has more meaning I guess :D:p

I've seen the movie as well, and I definitely recommend seeing the musical! I was only able to see it because of the World Tour they did recently. Unfortunately I don't live near any Phantom-Centrals (London + New York) so I cant see it very often. So it depends where you live. But if it comes nearby you must see it!
And I also am interested in the book as well, however there aren't any copies I know of that are attainable at the moment. Is the book good?

Hey everyone,

I just posted a thread in the Help and Support Forum. It is extremely long, so if you don't have the patience (like me!) then I wouldn't suggest looking at it, although you're free to do whatever you want :D it's only a tip. But if you can read it, wouldn you do me an enormous favor and reply? It would mean so much to me. I already have soem replies, but you people have been to great and I would love for some advice from you. I joined Aspie Central as a possible Aspie, and I could really use some help. Here is the thread: Help Please: Possible Aspie. Very Very long, only read if you're interested in helping :) | AspiesCentral.com

Thank you so much!
