Hello! I'm a 19 year old trans guy and in college and on my kinda third time of self diagnosing but I'm actually sure this time (basically I would be like "wow this is me" when learning about autism but I had learned to copy everyone else so I got on fine most of the time and thought that meant I couldn't be autistic, then I felt very bad about being a Liar). I told my friend about this and they said "And what have I been trying to tell you for TWO YEARS??" (two years ago I had a burnout and had a really ****** time and couldn't socialize anymore) I'm not very self aware and am terrified of actually turning out to be a liar, so yeah. The stress of adulting is making my sensory issues worse than I can remember them ever being, and I can't keep my apartment clean or enforce my own routines and barely even do hobbies anymore. So basically I'm a mess and need to learn to cope better.
Things I like doing are crocheting, sewing, machine embroidery (especially lace), certain kinds of beading, and hanging out with my cat. I have also recently discovered the magic of fidget spinners and am trying to design a communication/overload level ring. Like the same idea as those red/green flip bracelets but as a ring instead. This quarter I have a computer modeling class and access to the schools 3D printer so maybe I can make a prototype. If I had the money and space I would buy a 3D printer in a heartbeat. Forbidden obsession. (also there's a ****** elitist attitude in the male dominated craft communities that I've never encountered in traditionally "girly" crafts)
Okay, I think I'm rambling a little now, that's all.
=^..^=
