Hi everyone!
I just learned about Asperger Syndrome this past year and have been trying to learn as much as I can about it. I haven’t been officially diagnosed, I’m not seeking that because I don’t want to apply for disability and I don’t want to announce it to anyone, but I know from what I’ve read that I’m an Aspie.
It’s actually been a help to discover this about myself. I’m finally able to let go to some of the self-loathing I’ve had all my life. Well, it’s a slow process, but I’m starting to let go and to learn and understand myself and why I think and do and feel the way I do.
I know this doesn’t really make sense, I’m not sure what to say. But I wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself.
My name is Sophie, I'm 35 years old, live with my husband and our eight pets in California, and it’s very nice to meet you!
