I found this forum on Google and joined after setting a goal with my therapist to try communicating with more people, as I don’t really have any friends I’m talking to regularly. I was diagnosed with autism this year at the age of 27 after a long battle with unaddressed symptoms. I was originally diagnosed with OCD, anxiety, and depression when I was 21 after seeking help regarding not performing well in college. I thought I might have some kind of learning disorder at the time, after having some experience with special education in school. In between those ages I spent 4 years in isolation, not leaving the house.

In recent years, I am doing much better. I moved to a smaller town that's less anxiety inducing and volunteered at a food bank for 6 months which led to me getting a job at a grocery store. It didn’t work out in the long run, but I think I’m better for it. I really liked reptiles and old phones and have had a lot of them, I also liked PC Gaming and video games in general a lot. My main hobbies at the time of writing this are: Going to thrift stores, collecting stuffed animals and things, reading, watching TV, listening to music, and walking. I am also a Christian and enjoy related activities.

Thank you for reading and I hope we can be friends.

- If those aren't the best things in the world, then what is! I'm fairly convinced thrifting makes the world go round.
