Self-diagnosed Aspie at age 53, 17 years ago, when my son was officially diagnosed HFA at age 12. Eight years of IEPs for him, and nobody ever suggested HFA. Sigh. We were told to read the literature, and did, everything we could find. Then, it became apparent that ASD ran in the family, both sides.

BA in Chemistry, 1969; MBA, 1979; careers in low-level computer programming, high-level System Engineering, CEO of home-based handwriting font business, and finally, Handyman for my HFA-son's rental townhouses.

Born a non-believer, typical intense knowledge areas, wet sense of humor. Opinionated, of course, and tolerant of other beliefs. Will never forgive or trust anyone who voted for Trump. (See, told you that I was opinionated.)

Let's play together in this sandbox.
