Hi, am a 38yr old female in Wales who is awaiting assessment (3 years plus still waiting) for autism/Asperger's Syndrome (well I think ADHD as well but ‍) I actually believe that I have PDA, RSD and other issues like Executive Dysfunction linked with it all, don't know if they going to pick it all up when I go to be assessed! Am also a lesbian (rare or?) Anyway want similar people to talk to if possible?

Hi and welcome, good to see you here. I'm in the UK too, also gay, and nonbinary. I self identify, am not pursuing a diagnosis cos don't need one for anything, but having the knowledge that explains to me how I am has been really useful, and helped me find strategies that make life easier.

Yes I definitely have executive dysfunctions and slight delay in processing, don't tend to identify emotions I might have etc. It's just how I am, but it's good to understand why and that it's just a different way of being a person. Understanding does pull things together and help navigate the world, I have found.
