Hi

dakota dorner

Active Member
Hello, i am dakota dorner, an aspie from lower michigan. I was misdiagnosed with everything you can think of until i was officialy diagnosed when i was ~10. If it has an acromym i have been midiagnosed with it
:-) i annoy my mother by constantly being on edge about the ongoing battle for house cleaning, i enjoy popping up behind people in my high school and scaring them, and i also enjoy iron and copper working. I am the proud owner of a 124 year old anvil that has been in my family for generations and i love potatos in every possiable form. Exept salad. No potato salad. It is very cold here. I am in 9th grade. I know nothing of car engines but could assemble a 2 stroke blindfolded. The prospects of a high school relationship for me are same as those of north koreas continued existance, if it happens by 2018 people will be very suprised. People do not know what to do with me. They see me as incompatent one minute and i do somthing that changes their minds. My few friends tell me people are afraid of me. They cannot put me in a box and that unsettles them. I would most certainly fit in a box. I dont take up much room and i like cardboard :) but demenor changes so suddenly that i tend to scare people away. It is a good thing that i have people going to my school that are almost as weird as me. Almost. I enjoy minecraft because the phisics and rules of the world are known and sturdy. I can control everything in my little world with the right bukkit command. I would think it neat to be a part of 16th century pilotics. I enjoy gardens and i have 37 plants in my tiny room. I have a 2 year old sister and a 12 year old one. The 12 year old is VERY ADD and annoying. The 2 year old is the sweetest bug on the planet and i have reason to belive she has aspergers too. She is like a mini me. She exhibits all of the exact same symptoms as I do. I do not believe that this is just perishing. She screams and cries when she does not want to be picked up up or hugged and she changes moods quickly. She does a lot of spinning and has the vocabulary of a four year old. If she does not want me near her she screams "NO KOWDA!". She hates it on my hand is resting on her car seat or armrest. I enjoy electronics and plan to go into engineering, hopefully chemical. Alright then.

Welcome, Dakota! As for your 12-year-old sister...well, that's an age when kids can get a little hard to deal with. ;)

I hope you can make yourself at home here! :)

Wow, you come across as utterly lovable lol. But having lived as an NT most of my life, I can see why "normal " ones can feel exasperated.

I love colours and I have every colour of wash clothes, you can get and my husband has experienced my tantrum when with horror, I saw hi using one of my beautiful clothes to clean his car windows It freaks me out and he looked at me as if I had gone mad and so I escaped because it was PAINFUL to watch.

I have specific items for specific things and hate when kind minded ones help me, because they don't do it my way and I am afraid to say, that I have an artificial smile of thanks and just hope they do not too closely at my eyes lol

Of course, I hide these feelings from those around me, as I do recognise I am unfair.
