im not sure whether I'm an aspie or not. I definitely have some of the characteristics, but not others. I'm looking to find out about Aspergers and ask some questions.

You sound like me about 7 year's ago, when I first read about Aspergers and thought that some traits sounded so much like me, but not all and so, tried to dismiss this idea, but it kept coming back and the more I learned about it, the more convinced I became that I have it and then, joining this amazing forum, clinched it for me.

I am not hyper clever
Do not have a monotone voice
Do not look autistic
Hate numbers

In the world, I am considered pretty clever and knowing, by those who know me. On here, that vanishes lol

Female aspies are different to male aspies.

I am not "professionally" diagnosed but some who have worked with aspies and one, who's son is an aspie, recognised immediately that I am.

You have found an excellent forum that will confirm or not, for you.

Oh and very much welcome

Welcome aboard! :)
