Hi

You have found a intelligent and understanding community. Welcome and good luck!

Hi & Welcome,
It often isn't an easy thing to process. Its a pretty significant shift in self awareness. But you are the same today as the last day you didn't know - you haven't changed. Only your insight into things changes.

Welcome to Central :) If you maybe do some reading about AS & maybe watch some vids on youtube about other people's experience & ofc use this site, then hopefully you'll get some insight & understanding into AS which will help you.

I lived & was dominated by undiagnosed AS symptoms until adult & then went Ostrich on it for a further few years, so discovering that not only did other people recognize & experience many of the same things but also that these symptoms are recorded as hallmark characteristics of AS / Aspergers - which have names & labels!! - has really, really helped me.

I found a lot of acceptance & advice on this site & also, it's ok to vent about things on here if you need to I think :)

Welcome aboard :)
I hope you enjoy the community.

Hi and welcome to the forum. For me it was a shock when I first realised that I had it, but I came to accept it and was relieved when I got my diagnosis, because it explained so much about my life.
