HI!

Whats up everyone? My name is chris, im 42 and I have a 15 year old son who was diagnosed with aspergers when he was in kindergarten. 10 years later it finaly hit me that if aspergers is genetic then it was passed from either me or his mother. So of course it had to be from her because nobody in my family was like my son was. 1 year later I really opened my eyes and saw that my son and I are so similar its almost as if we read each others minds at times. Our speech, facial expressions, body language, reactions, as well as our love of music(both collecting it and creating it). Guess maybe it wasnt from mom after all lol. I was diagnosed in January of this year and liked it better when it was everyone else who were the crazy ones. Im now sure that my father was also an aspie but never had a name for it. My mother told me all she knew is he told her once that he always felt like the world was against him simply because he was in it and that he felt alone wherever he went. Honestly I believe that the paternal side of my fam ,meaning my dad and his 9 siblings, his dad as well as his dad(my great grandpa) were all aspies as well. Come to a family reunion with me and you'll see lol.

Welcome aboard sonic death monkey :)
