ive been with my aspie hubby for almost 20 years .. i never thought of him as normal to begin with .. i love him but in the begining it did take alot of work. he always thought i was trying to find something to argue with him about( he did not figure he was an aspie until about two years ago) now he sees that most of the time im not trying to pick a fight with him and that hes been reading me wrong.. i am thinking now that i am borderline aspie.. i know enough to get by with *normal* people . my son is also an aspie and its hard for us to connect with him :(
