Welcome to Autismforums.com, Gardenia.

Honestly, you won’t find the “five steps to living with my autistic child” here.

If think you will find strategies for having patients and understanding when relating to your child with autistic traits.

You will also find the fortitude to unconditionally love your child thru the highest most positive circumstances and the lowest of painful circumstances.

Most importantly you will discover that your child is to be cherished and valued above all else.

Be there for him or her. Never get tired. ALWAYS find more courage and never ever give in to selfishness.

Again, welcome to Autismforums.com. We are very encouraged that you are here.

Hi to u all and thank u for your welcoming. I have a question for those who are experiencing their child not being able to wee up to 10-12 hours. My 5yr autistic child goes through this alot. Not sure if its autism related, just wanting to find out if anyone else out there is going through the same thing.

i dont suppose you could somehow squeeze out said sample from the used nappy ? (perhaps put a extra less ( HA = High Absorption) nappie inside said ord diaper) And sadly with NPD diagnosis its is higher risk of developing both as little & future IC ( = Incontinence ) iccues (roughly 4,7 % higher then then normal population ) I have more then a few friends with Autism /ASD diagnosis that sadly both as little - young as well as early adult develop IC (be it nr 1 or nr 2 or both ) and me included both as a we girl calmed down to adult and now Well lets just say NOT good

So i would strongly suggest you contact a urologist and also make clear she has ASD

Youre very welkome and as Severe Double Mix IC (incl all the other Nasty " iccues" in this department :( my self this is NOT normal . Sounds to me she might actually have some cind of blockage in said urine disposal capability and thats can lead to WAY worse things (incl UTIS = urine trac infections,Kidney failior just to mention a few ) if not resolved so i would suggest ASAP =as soon as possible.
