Hi

I am new to this, having been recently self-diagnosed and looking for an official diagnosis although health services and CBT folk have all independently pointed to high spectrum autism which seems to tick the boxes.
Have suffered for years in companies, isolated, but survived with the aid of my incredible technical diagrams.
Its a relief to know what I probably already knew, I just am looking now for next steps. How do I not just 'survive' work, how can i flourish .. how can i communicate this thing, i don't seem to have too much feelings unless under duress, it all seems left side. I have (of course) a diagram explaining exactly whats going on as i understand it.

Welcome, @Garry jackson! I hope you find this forum as welcoming and helpful as I have.

I have made and posted a few diagrams here, but they pale in comparison to yours. My reaction:

Thank you ! The diagram i created has evolved over last few weeks and has helped me as I have put myself in some dodgy situations as a result of isolation because of the way i am.

Hi Garry and welcome to the community :)

It might be worth noting that there is no high or low on the Autistic Spectrum. The high and low "functioning" terms were only in use for a few years and have now gone the way of the dodo. There is no high or low - just autistic. Think of the spectrum as a sphere rather than a line ;)
