Hi :) my name is Brittany and I'm 16 fixing to be 17. I was diagnosed with aspergers almost 2 months ago. Just trying to connect with people who understand what I'm going through

Welcome to AC :)

You will find it friendly and helpful here with many resources.

Do not stand and keep your arms inside the car at all times...remain seated until the ride is over...please enjoy the ride :D

Hello and welcome Brittany,
I think you will be pleased to find how many of us share your feelings and experiences. Many of us are the same in that we are different from most. You should feel comfortable here, and I agree with Nitro, that life is not about following the rules, it is about following your heart.
Thank you for joining us.

Hi, Brittany! Make yourself at home! :)

Do you happen to be from Texas? My father always says "fixin' to" and he's from Texas. I've never heard people from anywhere else say it. (Dad says it's the state verb. :p)
