Nothing beats a good cup of tea in my opinion.
I can't stand Coffee, not really a fan of Hot Chocolate and I've never had Hot Toddys or Flaming Cocktails so I can't compare there.

I'm also reminded of this song that my Grandma has on one of her vinyls:

Jack Buchanan - "Everything Stops For Tea"

People always look strange at me... well people always look strange at me..., but I meant when I decline tea or coffee in meetings and just asks for a glass of water if I feel like I should request something. I never liked hot/warm drinks.

I don't really drink hot drinks, especially not tea. I don't understand how people can enjoy that, it tastes disgusting. A glass of orange juice for me!

I have mine with milk and two sugars.
If I try drinking it without milk and sugar, it definitely doesn't taste nice.

Water bores me. I know it's wrong, but I don't want to be bored.

Turning down tea for a glass of water isn't that odd. Often when I've had visitors and we offer them a cup of tea or coffee they said "no thanks, just a glass of water, please."
Also I thought having a glass of water in meetings was more formal.

I think it is very much cultural dependent - many times it isn't available here, as most people drink tea or coffee.

Maybe.
It is a common stereotype for Brits to drink tea but wanting a glass of water is also quite normal. In fact people don't really care what you drink. Unless it comes to alcohol. But this thread isn't about alcohol, so I don't want to derail the thread.

I enjoy a hot brandy after getting off the chairlift. A Mexican chocolate is divine. Right now on my table is matcha jasime tea. And anything coffee is always appealing.

How about hot peppered chili infused vodka! It fills your belly with warmth during those seasonal affective months! Puts a smile on your face! I do like tea coffee and hot chocolate tho

I do enjoy coffee.

I do enjoy tea.

I do enjoy hot coco.

The three drinks of choice regaurdless. Though coffee is still a major go to for me. Decaf coffee that is.

The tea that I like when I get introspective is Lapsang Souchong. Definitely an acquired taste but I find it soothing. I like the smoky, tar, flavor.

Hot chocolate, but it must be made with the Abuelita chocolate tablets. They don't dissolve as easily as a chocolate powder, so we grind it up in a blender.

MIx with milk. Using whole milk makes it a lot better than using 2% or fat free. Sometimes we also mix in some half and half to make it even richer.

Boil with real cinnamon sticks. I promise that what you taste will be a mix of chocolate and joy.

They sell the Abuelita here also. That's my go to. I just ordered Vietnamese coffee at the restaurant. They also had warm sake on the menu.
