How do i respond/react to women?

Voltekka_MK3

................................
As the title says. I am quite confident and i don't feel anxious at all if there are women sitting next to me or i have to walk through an area that is full of women. I literally feel nothing even if some of them smirk or stare at me questionably i just don't care and don't feel anything. When it comes to speaking, I am frozen.

I don't how to respond i either avoid confrontation or just say something ridiculous because i don't know what to say. When it comes to guys i feel relaxed and don't feel a problem. Women on another hand i have no idea how to respond. Its a whole different game.

Does anyone have this or know how to deal with this?

Edit: I am not hating on anyone i just truly find it difficult what to say to women. I am very lost.

I was that way with guys for the longest, until I found out how wonderfully easy they were to relate to with all their mud trucks and games and outdoors and mechanical stuff. Women... heaven help me, they are a mystery if they aren't a fellow tomboy! Moms and grandmas are fairly easy. Young and single is Mount Everest for me too.

Games and activities are my go-to. Volleyball, board games, video games (if you can find a girl that plays), hiking, fishing, anything, it is a wonderful ice breaker. You can goad each other and discuss techniques with games, talk about plants and weather with outdoor stuff, and get relaxed enough to go off onto other subjects as the conversation progresses. If you can get them talking enough to find out an interest, you've got it made. Hobbies are safe to ask about! If she has a passion for reading, cooking, TV/movies, flip flops, games, you can start a tangent around those. Food is usually easiest, and a good way to lead in to going to share a mutually favorite meal. I guess there's always the career subject if you want to try for that. Most girls like a guy who can make them laugh and genuinely enjoy the jokes they tell. Brush up on your quips and stories?
Many women will say they like a confident man. I think what they really mean is they like a guy who's relaxed who can loosen up and goof off a little. If you two are hiking or gaming, you've already got progress on this.

My best advice is to do group functions so you can listen for a little while and have a better chance at a longer conversation. One dude I chased for ten months had about two or three months spent on recon, volleyball, jokes, and board games before we started branching off into deeper conversations. Um, and play it really smooth and casual so you don't get put on the stalker list! Been there, done that, not a fun place to be. o_O

Thankie. I gotta half agree with NothingToSeeHere. We are one species, but interests segregate us so much it's almost like another species! Elsewise footballs and elf ears wouldn't clash with each other so badly. :p

Wrong. Men and Women are completely different and communicate very differently if you study sociology.

And do women expect men to communicate like a woman? No, they expect you to be what you are, a guy. The point I was trying to make is that you should just "be yourself"... unless you are a rude arsehole, in which case that's probably not a good idea.

I am old and old fashion. I have tendency to put women on a pedestal, it's just the way I was raised. My mother taught me to be extra polite to ladies. My mother is long gone now, but she might still be watching. I usually open doors and yield to ladies. I always do these things for my wife. In my eyes, she is the most special lady of them all.

I will never understand how holding doors is sexist. Never. If somebody is behind me, it's polite not to slam the door in their face, and if they're having trouble walking or have their hands full, it's polite to hold the door for them. Oh well, automatic doors will rule the entryways someday, and it won't be an issue anymore.

No matter what you say you men communicate differently with women. Feminine guys (who are metrosexual) communicate with women better so guys who act similarly like women infact communicate a lot better.

And i am myself when i try to talk to women, that meaning i don't know what to say IRL. That's just how i naturally react to women that i have to talk to.

They're hard to read and sometimes you can say something that would be fine with your male friends but would be problematic with female friends.

For example if i say a joke that's funny with most of my male friends i guarantee it won't be funny if i say it to my female friends because they can take it the wrong way.

And no i am not a "rude arsehole" , if i talk to to a women i would usually either freeze up or try to be funny but be unfunny.

If i talk to my male friends or people who are male i can be straightforward with them but when its women you have to be careful because women are biologically more emotional than men and sometimes something you say to your male friends can end up hurting females more.

Women also expect a man to be interesting , if a man is uninteresting they won't care what you have to say and if you're paired up with a woman in a pair activity and she doesn't like you then that's a recipe for disaster.

I also think some females who read my post right now probably got offended if i were to take a guess.

I think what AsheSkyler said is correct about going with the flow.

I wasn't saying that men and women communicate differently, they definitely do, just that I don't think you need to completely change your approach when talking to women. The only way I can see that a women would be offended by you talking/joking with them the same as you do with guys is if the jokes etc. were somehow sexist or otherwise offensive. It's just a matter of being polite, and trying to find common interests.

I don't think anything you have said was offensive, but I'm used to people (both men and women) who are very blunt so if you were it probably went straight over my head :smile:

And I completely agree with everything AsheSkyler said, very good advise all round.

Chocolate! It is like catnip for women!
Also being nice and not crack perverted jokes doesn't hurt either, but if they are still mean to you then they are not nice women and not worth your time.

How not to respond to women:

She says 'Hi.'
You say:

Hey, you're lookin' pretty whorish.
So, how many guys have you been with?
Ever had a 3 way?
You got a cute girl friend we could have a 3 way with?
Your ass is really big.
Your ass is super flat.
Are those tits or walnuts?
When was the last time you had sex?
How many orgasms can you rack up in a night?
How wide can you open your mouth?
Ever take it in the ass?

OK. Probably saying those things to a guy...not a good idea either.

I wrote that stuff out because the idea of 'responding to women'
was annoying me. Like a person had to make conversation with
sexual organs, instead of a person.

Sometimes I take things literally.:D:p

The idea of responding/reacting to female humans probably
isn't meant to imply that the speaker can only acknowledge
the female within the category of sexuality.
