how do wou guys deal with being banned from websites

musclecarman

Eat, sleep, cars
Ive been banned from this website last year around this time beamng.com - About I got pretty upset at the time especially when they called me "extremely immature" share me you're story

ps mods if you know where this post should go can you move it.

Never been banned, actually. I have had a few accounts deleted due to inactivity and I was a mad little hornet when I tried to log back in.

I was banned once, on an NT forum. But it occurred when a Mod spoke mockingly of Aspergers. I replied with just three words. Two of them were 'Go' and 'Yourself'. :D

I can see why you were banned, frankly, if someone said "I see you've let yourself go", I'd be pretty enraged too :p

I've only been a banner, never a bannee, but I can appreciate the feelings of rejection, confusion and/or anger that can result. When I owned and operated forums, I was never a believer in banning without dialogue, in some cases even after warnings have been issued. I liked to give people a chance to defend themselves. I also liked to have a chance to speak my own piece.

Climbing on my soapbox: I think people of authority on forums have an obligation to treat people with dignity. To me, that includes finding out one-on-one what's going on with someone before dropping the guillotine. Unless the person is new and clearly an agitator, that is. Or has been warned more than once about the same infraction. In those cases, buh-bye. No reason needed.

I'm an in moveable object when it comes to what I believe and how I feel and won't change my political beliefs or what I think for no one.

So I've been banned at countless sites
