How do you handle failure?

Failure is not an option!

Well, in all seriousness... I'm not really one to accept failure. But I think I can keep a level head and analyze why I failed somewhere. And as much as it is easier to blame outside factors, sometimes it's my own fault, so I don't mind blaming myself, but that doesn't mean that I will always blame myself. Blaming myself if it's actually not my fault seems silly.

Over years I've figured that failure only goes are far as getting into things of which I can expect to fail. It doesn't mean I won't aim high, but aiming too high sets up failure and disappointment. Knowing what you can and can't do helps a lot in dealing with failure overall.

Well, I suppose it really depends on what kind of failure we're talking about here.

Failure as frustrating as it can be at times, is often a foundation of sorts for many of my successes. It's nice to occasionally get something "right" the first time, but you don't learn nearly as much as when you fail, persevere and eventually succeed.

So failure for me is most often simply the beginning of any process. Not the end.

I get incredibly angry and shout "Whyyy?!" (comes from 20 years of watching Kenan and Kel on Nickelodeon and YouTube)
