How do you use a wired mouse AND a keyboard on an Android phone?

I used a USB-C hub, hoping to use multiple wired devices at the same time. It doesn't seem to work. But it seemed like a good idea, or I guess I need Bluetooth devices instead.

Meh.

Respectfully I know that techno-magery is just really interesting to alot of us. What you suggest flirts with illegality, as what purpose would such issue serve, save that you wish to _________ the fone itself? By the time you winkle the finkle on all that, your cost would exceed that of a craptastic used laptop, but be less effective......

What do you hope to gain?

Well, I seen other people on YouTube doing this. I even witnessed them simply linking a HDMI cable from a TV to their phone using a converter because the fitting on a phone is different. But when I did it, there was nothing showing on my TV.

Unless they had to debug the settings first. I really don't know how it worked for them. It looked as if I was following their steps in the right way.

I don't have a hub lying around to test, but as you're having issues with that a Bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo through your retailer of choice - I'd suggest Amazon - should work fine. Here's two for you if you want to take a look:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-...board+mouse+for+android&qid=1623160590&sr=8-5

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fosmon-Por...th+keyboard+for+android&qid=1623159743&sr=8-9

You can also Google "android mouse keyboard bluetooth" if neither of those suit you, but I would suggest doing research first using the model of your phone to see if anything is compatible if you decide to get one.

I used to do this with a tablet, no idea if it would work with a phone. I used a keyboard and a wireless trackball (my weapon of choice for mousing. Long live the Logitech trackball!) I used a hub.

Right now, I am using an app called Mocha Mouse. The free version has a slight (30 second) delay after 5 minutes. This means I can use an emulator on my other smartphone, while using my other phone's virtual keyboard. :D

Bluetooth is a bit fiddly, though.
