Was bord tonight and did a google search to see it there has been any new news in AS research and what I found just made me sick.

What stunned me more about this study is that it showed people with AS are more likely to commit suicide then people with mental illness. This all makes me very sad and angry.

Well, I almost could have been one of those people too. But as I wrote in a post a few weeks ago, if it wasn't for this site, I might have ended my life.

Honestly, worrying about every negative news story will just make you sick with anxiety. Trust me. I know from experience. If you want to help others, focus on what you can do as an advocate. Do volunteer work with a charity or write to your local newspaper about an issue you're into.

That partly why I never watch the news. Not advising to follow my foot steps but in general the news never interested me most of the time.

The problem, though, is that most Americans don't pay attention to the news so we have an ignorant, uninformed population that blames the president for things that are actually congress's fault and conservatives take advantage of the general public's stupidity to stay in office by spreading lies and ********, knowing that most people won't bother to fact check what they're hearing. It's extremely frustrating.

If you are waiting for the world to change, understand ASD, and adapt accordingly, then I personally believe you will be waiting forever.
