My family and I are on vacation at a resort in a different state from which we grew up. I ran into someone who when I met him was 14, and is now 32 with four children. He recognized me from my tattoos and in memoriam bracelet for my brothers in arms who've passed.

Wow that's an interesting person to meet up with, and a surprising coincidence too. I'm hoping it has been a good experience, and you are enjoying your vacation too.

It was. He is the cousin of a friend and he was around quite often. But hadn't seen him since we was 16ish. He was always polite for his age. He passed that to his four daughters. They were great with my daughter.

When I was backpacking in the back country of Yellowstone National Park I ran into a friend who was also backpacking in the park. We had both been in the same graduate course just a month ago. Neither had any idea the other was planning to backpack in Yellowstone.
